Participate in our online webinar to explore the connection between Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and our Catholic Faith!

As Catholics, we are called not just to believe, but to act—boldly and prophetically—rooted in the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching. In our last webinar, “DEI for Catholics: How Catholic Social Teaching Informs Our Faith,” we took a deep dive into the foundations of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), exploring how they align with the rich tradition of Catholic Social Teaching.

We listened to the lived experiences of three inspiring panelists, each offering a unique perspective on the importance of DEI in their faith journeys and work. We reflected on how the call to uphold the dignity of every person, foster community, and stand in solidarity with the marginalized is not just a societal trend—but a Gospel imperative.

So now we ask: What do we do with what we've learned? How do we move from understanding to action?

In this upcoming workshop, we’ll turn to Scripture—specifically, the story of Pentecost—to illuminate the path forward. The Pentecost moment was one of radical inclusion, unity in diversity, and divine empowerment. Through this lens, we’ll explore how the Holy Spirit calls each of us to embrace DEI not just as a concept, but as a daily practice rooted in love, justice, and mercy.

Together, we will:
  • Reflect on the scriptural and spiritual significance of DEI
  • Discover practical ways to live it out in our communities, parishes, schools, and workplaces
  • Be equipped with tools, encouragement, and faith-based motivation to act with courage and compassion

Come ready to be inspired, challenged, and sent forth—as disciples of Jesus, committed to building a more inclusive and just world.

The Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers have long been committed to fostering global solidarity, ministering to those on the margins, and ensuring that all people—especially the most vulnerable—are heard and treated with the dignity and respect that God intends for every person. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just values but essential to the call of missionary discipleship, reflecting the Gospel's invitation to embrace all with love and justice.
