Join Wholemakers, a summer series that empowers you to become a protagonist of positive transformation for our planet. Grounded in Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’, this experience is designed to help you explore, live out, and lead the call to care for creation.

What is Wholemakers?

Wholemakers is a FREE, innovative curriculum that blends the latest in climate science with the wisdom of Catholic tradition. You’ll explore environmental justice through the lenses of:

           🌱 Spirituality & Ecology

           ♻️ Sustainability & Simple Living

           💪 Social Action & Civic Love

Through guided conversations, prayerful reflection, and hands-on learning, you’ll walk away with the knowledge, tools, and community support to take real, hopeful action.

🙌 Meet Your Facilitators

	Facilitator: Brinkley Johnson Brinkley is one of our Maryknoll Young Adult Ambassadors. She has volunteered and worked for Annunciation House, Catholic Charities, and Jewish Family Service. She has a passion for social justice and is excited to co-create a community inspired by Catholic Social Teaching and eco-spirituality, centering the experiences of displaced people.
	Mission Formation Coordinator: Ray Almanza Ray Almanza is a Mission Formation Minister for the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers and team lead for Young Adult Outreach. He serves in the Southern California region. He is passionate about the prophetic tradition of hearing God's voice emanating from the marginalized, which involves the work of liberation, justice, and healing.
