Building Bridges in a Polarized World

Balancing Action and Contemplation - Advanced Missionary Disciple Formation Seminar

August 5-10, 2019

Looking to find positive ways to minister in our polarized world? Join us to reflect on how to balance contemplation and action to become a more effective community of missionary disciples who are bridge builders.

Our world and communities are fractured along cultural, racial, religious and political lines. We seem to be moving further away from God's hope for creation. How can we address these challenges?

Within a collaborative seminar/retreat format using the See-Judge-Act methodology of Evangelii Gaudium, we will continue to develop our collective knowledge, skills and confidence to accompany and inspire others to live out their call as missionary disciples. We will explore impactful strategies to engage and bridge diverse groups, with particular concern for those on the margins.
